To the left are the links for Jamie’s Folding at Home project (don’t get the wrong idea, he still doesn’t help with the laundry).
Folding at Home is a great way to help out medical science without even realizing that you are helping. Much of the information derived from folding is used by medical researchers at Stanford and other institutions to help research causes of Alzheimer’s Disease, many forms of Cancer, Parkinson’s Disease and Cystic Fibrosis to name a few. Folding at Home is a computer program you can download onto your set, and it runs in the background, much of the time without you even knowing that it is running, and it sends its findings to the researcher’s at Stanford.

We are proud adoptive parents to 12 diskless nodes of TRFrankenbot, who have recently undergone an "Extreme Computer Makeover", check out the picks and join the fold today!
